Wardens Box

 

Two wardens oversee the religious activities of the Synagogue. The wardens maintain a davening rota, arrange leining in the Rabbi's absence, liaise with families celebrating a simcha and co-ordinate Yahrzeit commemoration. They also assist the Rabbi to conduct Shivas, allocate Haftarot, co-ordinate baby blessings and maintain a list of names of people who are unwell, for whom prayers are being recited.
