Pinner Youth - PY

 

Hi, my name is Josh Phillips and I am the Youth Director of the Pinner Community. My job is to run PY / Pinner Youth, whose goal is to provide quality programming for the Youth of our community and other Jewish communities in the area. We believe in creating a Positive Jewish Experience for the Youth that attend our programming and we hope to foster a long lasting connection between the Community at large and the Youth of the Community, who represent our future.
    

We have strong ties with TRIBE (the Youth Wing of the United Synagogue) and have in the past worked with the local kindergarten (PJK),  Moriah School, Maccabi and the CST. We are also in the process of further collaboration with Northwood and Ruislip communities, in order to create a broader demographic for our Youth programming. The vast majority of our programming happens in the Henry Jackson Centre.
    

There are two main themes to what we do; firstly we provide a place for the social interaction of the Youth of our community, secondly we aim to strengthen their collective Jewish identity through informal education.
